- Cardamom trading range for the day is 1073.8-1115.8.
- Cardamom prices dropped on profit booking after prices gained following apprehensions about a crop failure this season
- At the auction held in Bodinayakannur, 23.7 tonnes of cardamom arrived and almost the entire quantity traded.
- Sharp fall in south west monsoon in the cardamom growing regions this year so far is negatively affecting the crop at present.
- Cardamom prices in spot market gained by 2.90 rupees and settled at 1189.30 rupees.
