- Ref soyoil ended with gains on anticipation of good physical demand in coming festival season and reports of lower imports on soyoil.
- SEA has raised its concerns on the decline in the oilseeds acreage this kharif season (2017), where monsoon played truant hampering sowing prospects.
- As per data, kharif oilseed sowing was recorded at 172 lakh hectares as against 188.63 lakh hectare last year, down by nearly 16.6 lakh hectares.
- At the Indore spot market in Madhya Pradesh, soyoil was steady at 671.3 Rupees per 10 kgs.
