- Menthaoil trading range for the day is 1217.5-1266.9.
- Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1389.10 per 1kg. Spot prices was down by Rs.-4.90/-.
- Mentha oil gained due to pick up in demand from consuming industries in the domestic spot market.
- Furthermore, tight stocks position following restricted arrivals from major producing belts of Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also supported prices uptrend.
- Total global production stood at around 48,000 tonnes, out of which India produces between 30,000-40,000 tonnes.
