- Cardamom dropped tracking weakness in spot demand amid reports of rains in some the producing areas are likely to benefit plants.
- Arrivals are expected to decline and stay limited in the coming days due to lean season and fresh crop may hit the market only from July onwards.
- India exported 2,230 ton cardamom during Apr-Sept 2017-18 up from 1,624 ton a year ago- showing a significant increase of 37%.
- Cardamom prices in spot market dropped by 4.20 rupees and settled at 1074.10 rupees.
- At the Indore spot market in Madhya Pradesh, soyoil was steady at 765 Rupees per 10 kgs.
