- Cardamom prices dropped tracking weakness in spot demand on account of weak demand from exporters.

- India exported 2,230 ton cardamom during Apr-Sept 2017-18 up from 1,624 ton a year ago -- showing a significant increase of 37%.
- Cardamom prices in spot market dropped by 1.20 rupees and settled at 1073.00 rupees.
