- Cotton trading range for the day is 22707-23047.
- Cotton dropped good condition of cotton in main cotton growing states.
- However, lower production prospects and delay in harvesting in Gujarat due to erratic rains.
- Cotton acreage till last week was down by 2.4% on year to 116.8 lakh hac compared to 119.7 lakh ha last year, according to the farm ministry data.
- Cotton prices in spot market dropped by 60.00 rupees and settled at 23040.00 rupees.
