- CPO trading range for the day is 585.6-595.6.
- Crude palm oil ended with gains on short covering tracking firmness in spot demand after prices dropped amid good stocks due to higher imports.
- Indonesian palm oil production is expected to hit 40 million tonnes in 2018, up from an earlier forecast of 38.5 million tonnes.
- Due to the seasonal rise in palm oil production at the end of the year, palm stocks for the last quarter of 2018 "look heavy”.
- Crude palm oil prices in spot market gained by 4.40 rupees and settled at 587.80 rupees.
