• Turmeric trading range for the day is 6634-6906.
  
• Turmeric gained on short covering after prices dropped on reports of rise in turmeric acreage in Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
• Fresh arrivals have reached very few markets due to which demand in the physical market is sluggish as most of the traders want to stock new produce.
• NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks dropped by 1154 tonnes to 1344 tonnes.
• In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7047.75 Rupees gained 6.1 Rupees.
