- Mustard Seed settled flat due to higher production estimates and subdued demand.
- All India mustard acreage for 2018-19 is reported at 34.70 lakh hectares which is 6.34 per cent lower than 2017-18 acreage of 37.05 lakh hectares.
- India mustard production estimate for 2017-18 is 83.22 lakh metric tonnes which is 5.11 percent higher.
- In Alwar spot market in Rajasthan the prices dropped -12.9 Rupees to end at 4121.55 Rupees per 100 kg.
