• Jeera trading range for the day is 15155-15435.
  
• Jeera settled up on short covering after prices dropped as new season jeera new season jeera hitting the market.
• Higher output projection and carry overstocks weighed on prices.
• Despite lower output in Gujarat, India's cumin seed output is pegged nearly 9% higher at 416,000 tons for 2018-19 because of increased production in Rajasthan.
• In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -10 Rupees to end at 16190 Rupees per 100 kg.
