- Turmeric trading range for the day is 6294-6478.
- Turmeric gained on short covering after prices dropped due to improving supplies in all the producing centres and projection of higher 2018-19 output.
- Support also seen on the back of concerns that drought conditions and cold weather will affect the crop production.
- Turmeric production is expected to be higher this season due to higher acreage in Telangana.
- In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 6325 Rupees gained 53.55 Rupees.
