Maize prices dropped after traders minimised their holdings in view of weakness in physical market sentiments.
As per Government data, in Maharashtra, maize has been sown in 2.07 lakh hectares higher by 0.10 lakh hectares than the corresponding period of last year.
At Ahmedabad market in Gujarat sources reported arrivals at 5000 bags, higher by 1000 bags as against previous day.
