Chana trading range for the day is 5103-5495.
Chana prices ended with losses after the reports showed that the food ministry is proposing to ask states to impose stock limits.
However, rising spot market demand and expectations of lower output from the major producing regions, capped some losses.
NCDEX accredited warehouses chana stocks gained by 110 tonnes to 3202 tonnes.
In Delhi spot market, chana dropped by -300 rupee to end at 5300 rupee per 100 kgs.
