Maize prices ended with losses tracking weakness in spot demand and overseas prices amid profit-taking by traders.
Informa also left its forecast of Argentina's corn crop unchanged at 27.5 million tonnes, a trade source said.
While in Karnataka the arrivals are progressing well in some markets, in other locations arrivals have just begun.
In Nizamabad maize spot prices dropped -3.55 rupees to 1469.15 rupees per 100kgs.
