Cardamom dropped on account of lack of upcountry demand at the spot market.
Stocks are dwindling in the producing centres and arrivals are diminishing because of lean period.
Though there are rains which are beneficial for the plants but new crop arrivals are set to commence late this year due to recent prolonged dry spell.
