Maize trading range for the day is 1474-1518. Maize prices gained as prices recovered on short covering tracking firmness weakness in spot demand and overseas prices. In Karnataka, Maize has been sown in 10.12 lakh hectares; which is higher than last year’s 7.65 lakh hectare covered during last year .NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks dropped by 180 tonnes to 10939 tonnes.
