In 2016- 17, the output of jeera is seen falling in other major producers Syria and Turkey to 10,000 ton and 12,000 ton respectively. NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks dropped by 114 tonnes to 4763 tonnes. In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -36.1 rupees to end at 18238.9 rupee per 100 kg.
