Turmeric trading range for the day is 6662-7046. Turmeric prices dropped
as the acreage of turmeric during current year is higher compared to
the last two years due to normal monsoon rains in major growing states.
According to the recent report from Andhra Pradesh Agriculture
Department, area under turmeric in the state stood higher at 13,992
hectares. NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks dropped by 35
tonnes to 7314 tonnes. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the
