Cotton trading range for the day is 19693-20693. Cotton prices gained due to rising demand from traders and stockists at the domestic spot market. Also, Indian Met Department (IMD) forecasts heavy rainfall for next 2-3 days in Gujarat which is also supporting prices. Cotton Association of India (CAI) estimated total cotton supply for the cotton season 2016-17 at 398.00 lakh bales. Cotton prices in spot market gained by 80.00 rupees and settled at 21970.00 rupees.
