Cotton trading range for the day is 20047-20647. Cotton prices ended with gains tracking firmness in spot demand as arrivals are slow. A 12 per cent drop in acreage and rains that hit soon to be harvested crop have led to concerns over cotton supplies. India' 2016-17 cotton production is expected to rise by 8.2% on increased yield in the country. Cotton prices in spot market gained by 240.00 rupees and settled at 22210.00 rupees.
