Cotton trading range for the day is 19680-20020. Cotton prices gains as support came after update a 12% drop in acreage. Cotton was planted on 102.55 lakh hectares this year, down 12% from the previous year. As per the agriculture ministry’s first advance estimate, production is expected to be 32.12 million bales.
