Cardamom trading range for the day is 1308.3-1374.1. Cardamom prices dropped on profit booling amid subdued demand in the spot market. The case of cardamom which is mainly grown in Idukki district is no different as the showers have been scanty. Data shows production of small cardamom during 2014-15 pegged around 18,000 tonne from 69.970 hectares. Cardamom prices in spot market dropped by 2.30 rupees and settled at 1214.20 rupees.
