Cardamom trading range for the day is 1352.4-1436.4. Cardamom prices dropped on profit booking after prices gained in previous session amid lower production expectation. As per estimate for 2016-17 Cardamom production likely to around 18,000 MT compared to last year 28,000 MT. India’s production is likely to fall by 30-40% in 2016-17 due to unfavourable weather conditions. Cardamom prices in spot market gained by 13.10 rupees and settled at 1366.40 rupees.
