Menthaoil trading range for the day is 995-1016.8. Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1116.90 per 1kg. Spot prices was down by Rs.-6.90/-. Mentha oil dropped on the speculation the area under cultivation can incerese this year resulting good production. Further, ample stocks position on higher supplies from major producing belts of Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh, too led to the decline in mentha oil prices. Sources mentioned that nearly 14500 MT of mint products were exported in six months of the current financial year.
