Ref soyoil prices dropped as negative clues from soybean and lack of any new bullish trigger from global trade centres weighed on prices.

The total production of oilseeds in the country is estimated at 27.38 million tons compared to 29.83 million tons estimated in previous estimates

India’s vegetable oil imports increased 33 per cent to 1.1 million tonnes in April mainly on higher shipments of palm oil.

At the Indore spot market in Madhya Pradesh, soyoil was steady at 613 rupees per 10 kgs.
