Turmeric prices gained on good upcountry demand as there was arrival of good quality turmeric coupled with deficient monsoon rains.
Turmeric sowing In Andhra Pradesh is recorded at 4942 hectares, which is 25 per cent of normal sowing area.
NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks dropped by 120 tonnes to 13351 tonnes.
