Soyabean prices gained due to short covering despite bumper-sowing progress and subdued demand for crushing.
USDA trimmed its forecast for 2014-15 US soybean ending stockpiles to 425 million bushels compared to 475 million bushels in the previous month.
Prices were also supported by improvement in demand from China, following robust imports data.
