Turmeric prices gained due to fresh demand from North India against limited arrivals from producing belts.
However, prospects of weak in July may not effect turmeric production as it is sown mainly in irrigated conditions.
NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks gained by 50 tonnes to 14508 tonnes.
