Turmeric prices dropped on revival of monsoon rains in growing areas however good demand from North India capped further loss.
Prospects of weak in July may not effect turmeric production as it is sown mainly in irrigated conditions.
However, excess rains during the vegetative and harvesting may adversely affect the production and quality.
