Maize prices gains tracking firmness in spot demand despite as stable crop ratings eased concerns about dry Midwest weather.
USDA rated 70 percent of the U.S. crop in good to excellent condition in a weekly report, unchanged from the previous week.
Brazil's government crop supply agency Conab raising its 2014/15 corn crop estimate to 84.3 million tonnes, up from 81.8 million last month.
In Nizamabad maize prices gained 7.4 rupee to end at 1426.5 rupees per 100 kg.
