Menthaoil trading range for the day is 883.5-923.5.

Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1012.80 per 1kg. Spot prices is up by Rs.1.70/-.

Mentha oil prices ended with gains amid rising domestic and export demand.

Besides, decline in arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also pushed up mentha oil prices.

Sources estimate total area under mentha planting reported a decline of 20% to 1.75 lakh ha this season.
