Ref soyoil prices ended with gains tracking firmness in spot demand amid due to higher import duty.
Government hiked import duty on refined soyaoil rose 20% from 15% to boost domestic consumption and production.
Edible oil imports are likely to increase to 14 million tons in the 2014-15 oil year from 11.6 million tons in the previous year.
