Soyabean prices gained on concerns over crop damage due to erratic weather in key growing states and on thin supplies.
Further, expectations of higher soymeal prices due to increased seasonal demand too supported soyabean prices uptrend.
China January-August soybean imports 52.4 million tons, up 9.8% on year while August soybean imports 7.78 million tons, up 29% on year.
