Jeera prices gained on expectations of pickup in demand from the stockists and traders.
However, some gains were limited by expectation of bumper sowing in Gujarat due to good rains during last week of September.
NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks dropped by 766 tonnes to 5601 tonnes.
In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged up by 54.45 rupees to end at 16324.45 rupee per 100 kg.
