Jeera prices gained because of poor stocks and hopes of fresh export business in the absence of adequate supplies.
Jeera stocks are dwindling due to fag-end of the season and lower output this year.
NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks gained by 116 tonnes to 6417 tonnes.
In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged up by 44.45 rupees to end at 16466.65 rupee per 100 kg.
