Maize prices dropped tracking weakness in spot demand and overseas prices.
As per Government data, maize have been sown in 76.62 lakh hectares as on now, higher by 0.99 lakh hectares.
In A.P, new crop arrivals has started into the market which are lower in quantity and contains high moisture at around 16-20%.
In Nizamabad maize prices dropped -11.1 rupee to end at 1522.2 rupees per 100 kg.
