Maize prices dropped tracking weakness in spot demand as the harvest of a near record crop drags down the market.
Erratic monsoon this year would hit corn production despite higher sowing reported across growing regions in India.
NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks gained by 513 tonnes to 820 tonnes.
