Maize prices ended with gains tracking firmness in spot demand despite of weakness in overseas prices amid harvest of near record U.S. crop.
As per Government data, maize has been sown in 76.62 lakh hectares higher by 0.99 lakh hectares than the corresponding period of last year.
NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks gained by 498 tonnes to 1318 tonnes.
