Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1023.30 per 1kg. Spot prices is up by Rs.2.40/-.
Mentha oil gained supported by pick-up in demand from consuming industries at the spot market amid restricted supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh.
Furthermore, expectation of lower production from the major producing belts, too led to the rise in mentha oil prices.
At Sambhal market total arrivals are at 100 Drums(1-drum=180kg), higher by 50 Drums(1-drum=180kg) from previous day’s arrivals.
