Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1028.60 per 1kg. Spot prices is up by Rs.5.30/-.
Mentha oil gains supported by pick-up in demand from consuming industries at the spot market amid restricted supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh.
Mentha oil production in India is likely to decline by 20% due to lower plantings of the aromatic herb on falling prices in the last two years.
