Jeera dropped due to timely sowing on favorable weather at the major producing regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Though, some losses were capped by good domestic demand and some export enquiries.
NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks dropped by 275 tonnes to 6067 tonnes.
In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged up by 141.05 rupees to end at 16535.7 rupee per 100 kg.
