Turmeric dropped on profit booking after seen supported due to the receipt of ample upcountry demand for quality turmeric at the spot market.
The farmers also brought good quality turmeric for sale and the heavy arrival did not affect the prices.
NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks dropped by 85 tonnes to 7648 tonnes.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 8784.2 rupees dropped -61.25 rupees.
