Jeera prices gained on short covering tracking firmness in spot demand due to weak production estimates.
The sources stated that overall acreage of jeera is likely to decline by 15-20 percent as jeera area.
NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks dropped by 60 tonnes to 4071 tonnes.
