Maize prices dropped as arrivals from Karnataka have started and sowing in Bihar is progressing well.
As per Government data, maize has been sown in 8.14 lakh hectares as on now lower by 1.51 lakh hectares than the corresponding period of last year.
NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks gained by 557 tonnes to 17354 tonnes.
