Turmeric prices gained on emergence of fresh buying as output is anticipated to be lower due to adverse weather.
Turmeric stock is estimated to be around 2.5 million bags across the country while new crop is expected to be around 4.5 million bags.
NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks gained by 31 tonnes to 4446 tonnes.
