Jeera prices ended with losses on profit booking after prices seen supported on reports of supply shortfall and fresh export enquiries.
In spot market delayed sowing due to low rains in Gujarat could lead to delayed arrivals of the crop.
At New Delhi market arrivals were reported at 5000 quintals, higher by 2000 quintals as against previous day.
In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged up by 200 rupees to end at 14950 rupee per 100 kg.
