Maize prices ended with gains tracking firmness in spot demand amid short covering.
As per Government data, in Maharashtra, maize has been sown in 2.07 lakh hectares higher by 0.10 lakh hectares than the corresponding period of last year.
NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks dropped by 1559 tonnes to 21356 tonnes.
