Maize ended with gains tracking firmness in spot demand after prices dropped in last some sessions on reports of the government allowing imports.
As per the third advance estimate of the government, India is expected to have produced 21.02 million tonnes of maize in 2015-16.
NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks gained by 494 tonnes to 7708 tonnes.
