Turmeric prices gained on expectation of good upcountry demand.
In Andhra Pradesh, Turmeric sown during Kharif 2015 week ending 23-09-2015 is 15405 hectares as compared to last year 12333 hectares.
NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks dropped by 140 tonnes to 11995 tonnes.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7866.65 rupees dropped -9.45 rupees.
