Chana prices ended with losses as pressure seen due to increased supplies in market from imported chana from Australia and other countries.
Moreover, return of winter and expectations of increased supplies from imported chana limited the upside.
This year chana is sown in 85.48 lakh tonnes (lt), compared with 85.74 lt last year, as per data release by Agriculture Ministry on Jan 22.
